How It Works

The tool reads your list of names, removes blanks and duplicates, then shuffles the order using the Fisher–Yates shuffle seeded with the browser's Crypto.getRandomValues() API for unbiased results. The shuffled names are then dealt out one at a time across the teams, so every team differs in size by at most one person. All processing happens locally in your browser — no names are ever sent to a server.
